Adding length
If you have ever wanted long hair without waiting two years for it, this is the quickest honest route. Extensions let you wear styles your own length will not hold yet.
Adding thickness
For finer or thinner hair, extensions add the weight back. Blended properly against your own hair, the result reads as fullness rather than as extensions.
Adding colour
Placed colour without putting any colour on your own hair. Lighter pieces, a deeper base, or a shade you want to try before committing to it.

Where it starts
The consultation is nota formality.
We order your hair in especially for you, so an extensions service cannot be booked online. The consultation can, and it is where everything gets decided.
You will leave knowing the price, how long the fitting takes and how long the set will last. We colour match you in person, run you through the three methods and pick the one suited to your hair. You will meet your extensions specialist while you are there.

Which method suits you comes down to your hair type, the look you want and how much maintenance you want to take on. That is a conversation, not a menu.
Seamless, and quick to fit
Applied with adhesive tapes for a discreet, natural finish with minimal effort. Fitting time depends on how much hair you are having and the look you are after.
Maintenance every 6 to 8 weeksTiny rings, almost invisible
Each nano ring holds a small strand, which makes them hard to spot and comfortable to wear. Around an hour per pack, plus half an hour for blending and styling.
Maintenance every 8 to 10 weeksFor thicker hair
Also called I-tips. Similar to nanos but using larger strands, so they suit thicker hair and can carry serious volume and length.

Before your appointment

None of this is a surprise on the day. It is here so you can decide with everything in front of you.
Come with clean, straight hair
Freshly washed, clean and straightened before your fitting. It helps the extensions sit properly and look more natural from the first day.
Deposit and cancellation
A deposit secures your fitting. We have a 48 hour cancellation policy, and once your hair has been ordered the deposit is non-refundable, for hygiene reasons.
Keep your maintenance visits
Every 8 to 10 weeks for nanos and stick tips, every 6 to 8 for tapes. Leave it longer and it can cost more, because tangling and matting take longer to put right.
Aftercare that keeps them
Sulphate free products, and heat protection every time you style. Never leave extensions to air dry and never sleep on wet hair. Always dry them properly with a dryer. That is most of the difference between three months and nine.

Will extensions damagemy hair?
It really depends on the fabric of your hair before we put them in, the texture and the strength that is already there. It might, it might not, but honestly, we would not fit them if we did not think it was right.
The best thing to do is come in and have a chat. We have got lots of happy extensions clients and it is not something we come across often.

What are Beauty Works extensions made from?
100% Remy human hair, so they look and feel natural. Remy hair has the cuticles aligned in the same direction, which stops tangling and keeps it smooth and shiny.
How long do they last?
With proper care, between 3 and 9 months. How long depends on the type you have and how well they are looked after.
Can I use heat tools on them?
Yes, straighteners, curlers and hairdryers are all fine. Use a heat protectant every time, or you will shorten their life.
Are they safe for my natural hair?
They are designed to be, when they are fitted and maintained correctly. Follow the care instructions and have them fitted professionally.
How do I care for them?
Sulphate free shampoo and conditioner, a soft bristle brush, and heat protection when you style. Always dry them with a dryer rather than leaving them to air dry, and never sleep on wet hair. Keep your maintenance appointments and they will stay in good condition.
Can I colour them?
It is possible, but have it done professionally or you risk damaging them. Colouring them often will shorten their lifespan.
How are they applied?
Tapes, nano rings or stick tips. Each has its own benefits and we choose based on your hair type and the look you are after.
