How NOCO was born
One logical. One creative.
Together, something powerful.
Noel and Corey are two very different people. One logical, one creative. Put the two together and you get something neither could build alone. That is what NOCO is.
They signed the lease on Whiteladies Road in 2018. Two days after Noel’s first child was born. Within 10 months they won Best New Salon in the UK. Three months after that, COVID hit.
What followed was relentless. Designing new techniques, building training frameworks, finding problems and fixing them. Then they started adding the right people to the team. And somewhere along the way it stopped being just a salon.
It became a movement.
The journey
A lot has happened
since 2018
The beginning
Noel and Corey sign the lease on Whiteladies Road. Within 10 months, NOCO wins Best New Salon in the UK.
COVID hits
Three months after the award, the doors close. The team keeps training, designing and building. The salon reopens stronger.
BBC One
Interior Design Masters features NOCO on BBC One. The salon is transformed into its signature Japandi design in two days.
Still innovating
Multiple awards. A loyal client base. A forward-thinking team. And a consultation framework that keeps getting sharper.
The founders
NOCO is Noel and Corey.
Everything starts here.
Creative Director and Co-Founder
Noel Halligan
Noel’s passion is cutting hair and building the systems around it. He designs the techniques, develops the frameworks, and drives the culture of training and innovation that keeps NOCO moving forward. He created the Clifton Cut and the Vitality Cut. Being around people and watching the team grow is what keeps him coming back every day.
Managing Director and Co-Founder
Corey Taylor
Corey’s focus is on the experience. Making sure every client feels genuinely cared for from the moment they walk in to the moment they leave. Her real passion is colour. Flawless balayage, natural-looking shine, and results that last. She makes sure NOCO is more than a salon visit. It is an experience worth coming back for.
What this means for you
When you sit in our chair,
you get everything we have built.
Every technique we have developed, every training system we have built, every problem we have solved since 2018. It all shows up in the hour you spend with us.
We have always believed that a happy team makes happy clients. So we invest in the people around you. We train constantly, we enter competitions to push ourselves, and we build a culture where the team genuinely cares about the result.
You are not walking into a salon. You are walking into something that has been refined, awarded and built with you in mind since the day we opened.
That is the difference you feel when you leave.
Awards and recognition
