Do I need a consultation before colour?
Yes. Every new colour client begins with a Gameplan Consultation. We assess your hair, confirm what is achievable and agree the plan before anything begins. This is also where we carry out your patch test.
How long is the Gameplan Consultation?
30 minutes. Focused, structured and enough time to understand your hair properly and design a clear plan.
Is the K-Scan consultation redeemable?
Yes. The £25 consultation fee is fully redeemable against any Kérastase homecare purchased on the day.
Do I need a consultation before extensions?
Yes. All extension services require a consultation before installation. We need to assess your natural hair, recommend the right method and plan the colour match before committing to anything.
What happens if I am not sure which consultation I need?
Start with a Gameplan Consultation. It covers cut and colour and gives us the full picture of your hair. From there we can recommend whether a K-Scan or extensions consultation would also be useful.
What do we do in the consultation?
We sit down together and go through your hair history, your goals and what your hair can realistically achieve. We assess your hair condition, texture and any previous treatments. We discuss your lifestyle and how much maintenance you want to commit to. We then design your personalised Gameplan. If you are planning any colour work, we also carry out your patch test during the consultation. All colour services require a patch test at least 48 hours before your appointment. Doing it during the consultation means you are ready to go when you come back in.
