What is the difference between the Overview, Discovery, and Gameplan consultations?
The Overview is for basic services, like styling and standard cuts or colours. The Discovery is ideal for any technical work, like highlights or lowlights, and changes in style. The Gameplan is perfect for planning long-term maintenance, finding the perfect style, and getting in-depth education about your hair’s condition and thickness.
How do I know which consultation is right for me?
If you’re looking for a straightforward service, like a basic haircut or colour, the Overview is for you. If you’re thinking about a more complex service, such as highlights or a complete style change, choose the Discovery. For those considering long-term hair goals and wanting more education, the Gameplan is the best fit.
Can consultations be done over the phone or Zoom?
Yes, we can conduct the Overview and Discovery consultations over the phone or Zoom if needed. However, for a truly detailed analysis and better results, we recommend in-person consultations whenever possible.
What is the Beautiful You Consultation?
This is a personalised consultation where we look at your hair texture, condition, and even your body features like eye shape, jawline, and shoulder width to find the best cut, colour, and treatments for you. You’ll also receive a personal results sheet.
Do I need a consultation before every appointment?
Every haircut or colour service includes a standard face-to-face consultation. However, our extended consultation options allow us more time to ensure the plan and vision for your hair are just right, especially before your first visit or when considering a significant change in the future.
Do I need a patch test before every colour appointment?
A patch test is required if you haven’t had a colour service with us in the last 6 months. It’s a compulsory safety measure for all clients receiving colour treatments.
What happens during a Gameplan Session?
In a Gameplan session, we create a detailed plan for your hair, focusing on maintenance, your ideal style, and education on your hair’s condition. It’s about working together to achieve your long-term hair goals.
Is the “Love Your Look Guarantee” available for all services?
The “Love Your Look Guarantee” is available only for clients who have had either a Discovery or Gameplanconsultation before their service, to ensure we fully understand your needs before starting.
What if my stylist is not available for a follow-up?
Your follow-up must be with the same stylist or one of the same team members who did your original appointment. However, if you’re unhappy with any part of your hair, you can request to see another stylist for corrections, as long as it’s within the timeframe and meets the criteria of our guarantee.
Which days can I come for a follow-up appointment?
You can schedule your follow-up appointment any day except Saturday.
How do I book a follow-up care appointment?
Simply contact our reception team, and they will arrange a complimentary blowdry or follow-up appointment within 2 weeks of your original service as part of our Follow-Up Care Package.
Can I book my follow-up appointment online?
No, follow-up appointments can only be booked in the salon or over the phone. To avoid disappointment with availability, it’s usually best to book your follow-up before you leave the salon.
Does a follow-up care appointment include a head massage?
Absolutely. It’s a wonderful way to be pampered all over again!
Can I attach a consultation to my appointment?
Yes, you can! Just make sure you have enough time booked for both the consultation and your service.
What happens if I don’t like what my hairdresser is saying in the consultation?
If you’re not happy with what your hairdresser suggests during the consultation, that’s okay! The consultation helps you avoid booking in and getting work done that might not meet your expectations. It’s all about making sure you’re comfortable and confident in the plan before moving forward.
Is this too good to be true?
No, we truly care about everyone who visits our salon. It’s important to us that we find the right match for your hair and your hairdresser. We love building relationships, and once you’re in with us, we’re all one big family that looks after each other.
Before making a booking, we kindly ask that you familiarise yourself with all of NOCO Hair’s terms and conditions.
Please be aware that all new colour services require a patch test at least 48 hours before your appointment to ensure your safety and satisfaction.
Please note that consultations carry an initial charge of £25 that will be refunded off the bill when the service is carried out
